This part (part 2 of 3) is primarily focused on alternate English phrases for common signs. It will help you to add variety, nuance, and life to your ASL-to-English work. This portion of the workshop will cover the following categories:

- "The Use of Think"
- Idioms
- Time Indicators
- Regional Variants
Educational Objectives:
This WWorkshop will teach techniques to:
- Develop a basic understanding of ASL linguistics in layperson terms
- Develop lexical equivalents to Sign items
- Become aware of idiomatic English usage.
The mandatory activities will ask for you to copy some signs and facial expressions and to do some light ASL to English work (typed).
This workshop is presented in ASL.
